Support and Staff


spacer Art Plus Gallery is incorporated under the Articles of Incorporation of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as of March 13, 2000. The Gallery is managed on a non-profit basis and has achieved 501(c)(3) tax exempt status.

 

 

* Outreach programs include visits to the Gallery by high school art groups, PAL and senior citizen groups, visits and art demonstrations by member artists at local schools and community organizations, art exhibitions in the Gallery by local high school students and senior citizen artists, and performances in the Gallery by local high school vocalists and instrumentalists.

spacer We are applying for grants to support activities in the Gallery.   A monthly artist membership fee and a 20% commission on sales are used to cover operational expenses.   With our move to our present location and an increase in expenses, the Gallery needs to find additional sources of revenue.   We initiated a ‘Patron of the Month’ program ($300/ two month period) as a way to meet our new expenses.   We also have opportunities for Businesses to be a sponsor at various levels, starting at $500 per month.   This money enables us to lower our fees to help out artists of minority or low-income groups.

spacerThe Board of Directors is composed of a mix of participating artists and community business leaders who advise and assist in the functions of the Gallery.  Their terms of office are determined by the by-laws of the organization.

You are cordially invited to join us as a Supporting Member of Art Plus Gallery. Your $30 tax-free contribution will help us to continue to offer opportunities and encourage the arts within our community.


The Outreach Gallery is dedicated to local schools, senior citizens, and other groups allowing them to show and sell their art in a public venue.


The Featured Artist Gallery is dedicated to highlighting a new and diverse array of local and regional artists.
